We are grateful to all our supporters, and would like to take the opportunity to thank these organisations and share the great work made possible through their support.
A New Direction is a charity (Registered Charity No. 1126216) dedicated to helping London create, think and learn.
Our work is made possible by the generous support of a number of public and private organisations who share our mission to ensure all children and young people get the most out of London’s extraordinary creative and cultural offer.
Highlights from our funders
Paul Hamlyn Foundation and My Creative School
Paul Hamlyn Foundation are supporting My Creative School – a three year project supporting the delivery of curriculum-relevant creative activity in schools, co-produced by teachers and creative practitioners
The funding has been secured PHF’s Arts-based learning - More and Better Fund. This fund is designed to help organisations build convincing evidence of what their work achieves for children and young people, schools and teachers and to understand how this happens and how this work may be developed and improved further.
Natwest and Create Jobs
Natwest have offered their kind support to fund ‘Create Jobs: Ambassadors’, a new programme to revolutionise recruitment practice in the creative industries and provide 250 young Londoners with the opportunity to enter into creative employment.
This funding was secured through Natwest’s Skills and Opportunities Fund.
Arts Council England and our Schools Programme
We know schools work hard to engage their students with London’s extraordinary creative and cultural offer. To support this, A New Direction have an annual programme of events and opportunities for schools, including Artsmark support and our Cultural Leaders and INSET programmes.. This activity is kindly supported by Arts Council England through their ‘Bridge’ activity.
