Artsmark is the nationally recognised mark of excellence for schools delivering quality arts and cultural provision. The Artsmark programme is a supported journey for schools to develop their practice and celebrate their achievements.
The award provides a framework to build your profile as a school leading in arts education. The award will help you audit current strengths, identify priorities, and articulate and align arts and cultural provision against whole school improvement.
"Artsmark is a fantastic way of focusing on what you already do well as a school and highlighting what you could yet still strive to do. We have identified skills within our own staff we didn't know existed (and shared these skills with others!) and pupil voice has been at the fore of our work. The process is straight forward and there are lots of resources available to help you get started."

All support is included within an initial £500 sign-up. Schools have up to two years to make a submission, and the resulting Artsmark Award (Silver, Gold or Platinum) is then valid for two years.
"The journey to achieving Artsmark status has allowed us to celebrate the many enriching activities that already happen at our school and has opened up our eyes to many more creative opportunities."
