We support and create opportunities for young people to make it in a fast-changing and highly networked workplace.
Mentors constructively challenge – in an objective and non-judgmental way – the mentee’s thinking and rationale. Taking their ideas and grounding them in real examples, people and places, providing a sense of what the world is really like.
This process can often be as helpful for the mentor as it is for the mentee, providing an opportunity to reflect on your own career, the choices you’ve made and the experiences you’ve had. You’ll develop a sense of personal satisfaction knowing you’ve contributed positively to someone’s life and increasing your awareness of other perspectives and world views.
We aim to create a trusted relationship to help guide a mentee towards work or to further progress in their careers. Mentors will support mentees as they deal with self-doubt by encouraging little changes that cumulatively make a big difference.
