Bellingham partnership

How can we organise resources and opportunities around the renovation of an incredible local community building to make sure every child has the chance to take part?

Lewisham Education Arts Network, Phoenix Community Housing, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Lewisham Music and Greenwich and Lewisham Young People’s Theatre will work together in Bellingham on a project inspired by the redevelopment of the Fellowship Inn.

The Fellowship Inn is vast in scale - originally comprising two bars, a 200-seater dance and music hall, a 2260ft function room, off-license bottle shop as well as family accommodation across two floors. A renovation project is currently underway, led by Phoenix Community Housing. Plans include a cinema, brewery, coffee shop, comedy venue as well as activity run by Lewisham Music.

Over the coming year, with investment from AND of £27,000, local creative partners will work together with Phoenix. They will consult and connect with local communities, shape new and platform existing opportunities in Bellingham to make sure everyone has the chance to take part and recognise the Fellowship as somewhere they can visit, create, play and meet.
