Former poet laureate Sir Andrew Motion has compiled an anthology of verse specially designed for pupils to recite in school competitions. The collection features more than 200 poems by writers including Chaucer, Keats and Wordsworth, as well as contemporary poets, including Benjamin Zephaniah, Simon Armitage and Sir Andrew’s successor as poet laureate, Carol Ann Duffy. Applications are now open to 16-19-year-olds from across the UK for the BFI Film Academy. Successful applicants will gain invaluable experience working alongside industry experts and a variety of practitioners.
