This resource is designed to support libraries in guiding students through the process of achieving Arts Award Discover. The resource utilises the wealth of online resources, events and workshops available from London’s vibrant cultural sector, and can be used both by young people in school or at home.
This resource can be used alongside our Online Discover Logbook, and will also work with any other logbooks you may be using, including bespoke ones that you might have or plan to create.
Arts Award is a qualification in the arts for anyone under the age of 25 which develops young people’s creativity and communication. It is a nationally recognised set of qualifications run at five levels: Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Arts Award Discover is an introductory award, designed for ages 5 and above, but is open to children and young people aged 25 and under. To achieve an Arts Award Discover, children and young people collect evidence in an individual arts log of their experiences of:
