Creative Interventions in the English Faculty

An essay providing an arts organisation's perspective of creative teaching strategies within an East London school's English curriculum.

By Annie Bicknell, from Learning about Learning, 2006

Written by the head of education at Bow Arts Trust, this essay provides an arts organisation's perspective of exploring teaching strategies that would allow access points to all young people within an East London school's English curriculum.

Through poetry and digital media the artists, teachers and students were able to use a range of learning styles and understand their own preferred creative routes into learning.
