Teachmeet: Wellbeing Through Creativity and Cultural Education
Join us for an inspiring twilight event, bringing together experts from across the fields of student wellbeing and cultural engagement to share experiences and offer new opportunities.
Join A New Direction’s Advocates for a teacher-led event exploring how creative learning and cultural education can support pupil wellbeing in all school phases. Taking part during Creativity and Wellbeing Week, this teachmeet is delivered by A New Direction Advocates from Westminster Children's University and Lauriston Primary School, and will provide access to a range of specialist advice and facilitators.
Refreshments will be provided. This venue is fully accessible.
If you are interested in speaking at this event (all presentations must be no longer than 7 minutes, and slides/handouts are optional), please contact firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. We are particularly keen to hear from speakers meeting one of the following criteria:
Speakers from schools that have an established and highly successful approach to pupil wellbeing
Speakers from arts/ cultural organisations that have an interest/ experience in pupil wellbeing
Speakers from Artsmark Partner organisations or Platinum Artsmark Schools on how Artsmark/Arts Award can support wellbeing programmes and approaches in schools.
This event is suitable for teachers and teaching assistants working in London schools, from all disciplines and Key Stages, with an interest in creative learning and pupil wellbeing. Cultural organisations with an interest and experience in supporting schools with pupil wellbeing are also welcome.
