Steve leads the team and is responsible for strategic leadership and overall financial viability of A New Direction. He is passionately committed to developing innovative creative change programmes for young Londoners, with over 25 years experience of work in the arts, educational and community settings.
Holly builds partnerships with key stakeholders in London and across the world as well as overseeing the organisation’s campaigning and communications activity. Holly is an experienced arts leader committed to getting more young Londoners involved in the creative life of the city.
Rebecca works closely with the rest of the Programme team to ensure that
the organisation’s programmes are effectively planned, delivered and
evaluated within schools and other settings across London.
Edith is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the organisation's finances, and that assets are employed effectively towards achieving our objectives.
Steve leads on communications and marketing, which includes: web development, online strategy and social media, publications, brand, press & PR, events and stakeholder engagement.
Oliver leads on
developing youth focused programmes for A New Direction, including
Headstart and
CREATE Jobs. Oliver
has a keen interest in interpreting policy developments.
Laura leads on the Creative Partnerships Change Schools programme. She supports a team of eight Lead Agents and the Change Schools Creative Agents team, and is also supporting the evaluation team for the Enquiry Schools (BIGLOP) programme.
Caroline Bray
Arts Award Regional Development Co-ordinator
Caroline promotes
ArtsAward across London. She works closely with her colleagues at A
New Direction to link Arts Award with progression routes for young
people into the arts and cultural sector.
Claire Storey
Finance and Resources Manager
Claire provides financial and operational support to enable the organisation to run effectively. She manages cash flow and payments and helps partners, schools and suppliers with invoice and contract related enquiries.
Shahrukh Bhatty
Finance and Resources Assistant
Shahrukh supports the Finance and Resources team, and processes invoices, purchase orders and bank records.
Jusna Begum
Communications Assistant
Jusna assists with maintaining the website,
designing print and graphics and also provides general office support.
Maria Pacsa
Community Arts Management Apprentice
Maria is our Community Arts Management Apprentice. She supports the programme team with general admin tasks and also gets involved with events that will help her with her qualification.
