Why are you interested in being a CREATE Programmer?
I have the role of an executive producer as part of the CREATE programmers group. I’m interested in being a part of the CREATE team because I want to know more about the events industry and the work that is needed to make an event a success.
I also want to be able to be a part of the CREATE festival as it is notorious for its good quality of acts and performances. I live in a borough that I would consider to be a nice area but I have never heard of such a great opportunity as CREATE occurring in my area so I am extremely grateful for this opportunity.
Who or what inspires you?
I love dancing and acting, my Drama teacher, Dance teacher and ex- Drama teacher have really inspired me to love performing arts and to make it a focal point of my life and eventually my career.
When we went to events around London like Rough Trade East, Brick lane or the River Thames Festival – and see all the creative work done by people it inspires me to also try something new and creative, I love seeing new, fresh young acts performing in London to give us a taste of all the talent that’s here that we don’t always notice.
