The CREATE Programmers are a group of inspirational young people from the 5 Olympic boroughs, Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
Our mission is to produce culturally diverse projects by highlighting the amazing opportunities that exists for young people in London through collaboration with local communities, businesses and individuals.
With mentoring and support from industry professionals we specialize in the planning, managing and production of projects specifically for young people.
We are proud of where we come from and what our communities have to offer. By representing the interests of our peers and showcasing where we live, we aspire to reach out to young people across London. Our aim is to share ideas, develop new opportunities and demonstrate that every young person has an equal opportunity to achieve.
Using the opportunities that the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games offer young people, we aspire to make real connections around the Olympic moment and use its legacy in east London to make the life changing possibilities a reality.
Our vision is to develop CR34T3 into an innovative and creative company of young people providing for and creating a legacy for young people in the future.
Our event will take place on the 20th March 2010 at Newham Town Hall in Stratford. The audience will be an invited group of 400 selected young people from the 5 Olympic boroughs.
